The Wanted Life

The Wanted Life is an American reality television series that follows the English-Irish boy band group The Wanted.The series premiered June 2, 2013, at 10 pm ET/PT on E!. Announced on February 6, 2013, The Wanted Life chronicles the five piece band as they record their third album and plan their first world tour. Despite acquiring 600,000 viewers for its inaugural 10 p.m. premiere, The Wanted Life was able to achieve 1.7 million viewers after three reruns of the series throughout the same night.

Before Barenaked Ladies, Broken Social Scene and Rush rose from Toronto's music scene, there was Rompin' Ronnie Hawkins, Robbie Robertson and Gordon Lightfoot making a name for themselves on Yonge Street. This three-part documentary reveals the history of how Toronto's main drag became the leading destination for singers, musicians and music fans not only in the city but across Canada as well. It began in the mid-1950s and flourished until the early '70s, and in between such artists as David Clayton-Thomas, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Levon Helm, Led Zeppelin and Jeff Beck performed on Yonge Street. Mummies Alive, a new historical documentary series, is coming to the Smithsonian channel. Broadway World is reporting that Mummies Alive will premiere tonight. The TV series was originally released on April 19 in Canada. It is produced by Saloon Media and Impossible Factual, in association with Shaw Media. Directed by Mick Grogan and narrated by Jason Priestly, the six-one hour episodes center around mummies that have been found all around the world and the stories and legends surrounding their deaths. In tonight's episode, Mummies Alive will focus on a mummy known as gunslinger mummy Sylvester, 14-year-old Inca Maiden, and Otzi, The Iceman - just to name a few.
