Synopsis

A bookseller is murdered and Wycliffe discovers an unpleasant family background. A brother that hasn't spoken to him in years and another brother who had fought with him over an inheritance. Add in a sister that lies constantly and the man's wife who disappeared years earlier under unusual circumstances. And then, another family member is murdered....
